Terms of service

By using HyperProxy you agree to these terms. HyperProxy is a bring-your-own-key gateway that proxies your requests to upstream providers under keys you supply.

About these terms

These terms cover your use of the HyperProxy website, managed gateway and dashboard. “HyperProxy”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the service provider. For questions about these terms, contact [email protected].

Paddle acts separately as merchant of record for self-serve paid purchases. The applicable Paddle seller entity and payment terms are identified at checkout and on your receipt; Paddle is not the operator of the HyperProxy service.

The service

HyperProxy hides your provider API keys behind a proxy: your app sends an app key, HyperProxy injects your real key and forwards the request to the upstream you configure. You can self-host the open gateway or use the managed service.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be legally able to enter into a binding contract and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for activity under your account, for protecting your sign-in methods and app keys, and for telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

Your responsibilities

Plans & billing

Paid plans add to the account's monthly request-count allowance, shared across its projects. Any available grace allowance or payment grace period is shown in the dashboard; it does not increase the recurring plan allowance. Once the applicable allowance and any grace access are exhausted, requests are rejected rather than forwarded. Fees for a plan are billed as described at signup; upstream provider costs are separate and billed to you by those providers. Paddle is the merchant of record for self-serve paid plans and handles payment collection, applicable transaction taxes, invoices, refunds, and recurring subscription management. You can update payment details through the Paddle customer portal and manage each subscription from the HyperProxy billing page.

Each purchase renews independently. Immediate eligible cancellations and plan changes are prorated: unused value is added to the same Paddle customer's HyperProxy account balance, and available same-currency balance is applied before a payment method is charged for a later eligible purchase or update. This service credit is not cash and is not transferable. Separate payment-refund rights and request steps are described in our Refund policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically on the renewal date shown at checkout and in your billing page until canceled. Each separately purchased subscription has its own renewal date. An immediate cancellation ends that subscription's paid quota immediately; a scheduled cancellation, where offered, keeps access until the stated period end. Canceling a subscription does not by itself request a refund to the original payment method.

Software and content

HyperProxy and its managed-service materials remain owned by their respective rights holders. Open-source components are licensed under the license included with their source code. These terms do not transfer ownership of your application, provider credentials, or request content to HyperProxy.

Availability

The managed service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HyperProxy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for upstream provider charges, outages, or content. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding three months.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your projects at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, fraud or abuse, legal requirements, or to protect the service and its users. Ending an account does not erase payment, tax, security, or dispute records that must be retained, and does not cancel an active subscription unless the billing flow confirms that cancellation.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
